Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (1922 – 2014) was the spiritual guide to hundreds of thousands of people across the globe. He was the 40th Master of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Order. The teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim advocated for peace and tolerance for all people. Thousands of people have visited the Dergah to receive his blessings and advice. Shaykh Nazim passed away on 7th May, 2014, and was buried in the garden of the Dergah. The current Master of the Order is Shaykh Muhammad Adil, who resides in Istanbul. Although Shaykh Muhammad lives in Istanbul, he visits Lefke frequently. His brother, Shaykh Bahauddin Adil, and his nephew, Shaykh Mehmet Nazim, manage the Dergah. The youngest daughter of Shaykh Nazim, Hajjah Ruqiyah, looks after the female guests.
